Hello.

Noel and I walked into Killian Palms Country Club in September of 2011 after a day of “venue shopping”. We were frustrated, stressed out, and quite annoyed at some of the venues we had gone to visit that day. We walked in 15 minutes before closing time, based on the experience we had at the previous venue we had visited we weren’t expecting much hospitality, especially since office hours were nearly over. The moment we stepped foot into the office, Katherine greeted us with a smile and was immediately attentive. She had us sit at her desk and began to show us the brochure, we asked if we could see the ballrooms and without hesitation she guided us to both ballrooms. There was a wedding that had taken place in the gazebo and she was kind enough to let us wait so we could see the gazebo set up once the previous party had cleared the area. We immediately fell in love with your location and with the staff. I must say, Katherine’s attention to detail, professionalism, and warm personality was a major selling point when we decided on Killian Palms. We sent her countless emails and stopped by the office numerous times with questions and concerns and she never made us feel as if we were taking up her time. Several times we had gone in and she was with other customers, not once did she insinuate she was too busy for us on the contrary, she always made us feel that she had time for us and always helped us with any request we had. While we had more interaction with Katherine, Lorraine was also very professional and had a welcoming demeanor and always a great help as well.

The day of the wedding, I had received a call from my cousin that they were going to be unable to set up. Needless to say I had a breakdown however, Katherine called me to let me know that everything was going well and that everything was being set up. Due to that call, I was able to calm down and enjoy the “getting ready process”. Once I arrived at the venue, she showed me the ballroom, it took my breath away. Everything was absolutely perfect. The draping, uplights, the table cloths, everything just looked amazing. The flower arrangements blew me away. Mavy & the team from Glamour Floral Creations did such an amazing job. The arrangements were gorgeous, the candles added such romantic light to the room, it was everything we could’ve ever hoped for and more. The cake from Mr. Bee’s was phenomenal, it was gorgeous and was absolutely delicious. For dinner we had the chicken roulette, it was wonderful, I still have wedding guests asking me what it was and telling me how delicious it was. The DJ was great, he played all kinds of music and was always pleasant and played all the songs we or the guests requested. The wait staff was amazing, they were very friendly and I even got to dance with a two of them at the end of the night, they were so much fun. The bar tender was great, I asked for a drink at the beginning of the night and he remembered exactly how I liked it the rest of the night. He was also very fast serving the drinks, there was barely a line at the bar all night.

All in all, we couldn’t have asked for a better evening! The gazebo was gorgeous, the ballroom was beyond what we expected. The flowers were absolutely beautiful. We had a fabulous time and so did all of our guests. Everyone that attended the wedding was so pleased with the service, the food, the dancing, and the venue in general. We do not have one complaint. Everything was absolutely perfect. So perfect that I want to do it all over again. We couldn’t have asked for a better place do it at. Killian Palms exceeded our expectations.

Katherine, we couldn’t have asked for anyone better to help us with everything. You were truly amazing!!! We miss emailing you!!! J Thank you for sending us the pictures you took, I look at them on a daily basis just remembering the night!!!

Again, we would like to thank Killian Palms and the entire staff for making our wedding “THE BEST WEDDING EVER” (quoted from several guests and the bride and groom). We can’t imagine having done it anywhere else, best decision we made!
