I wanted to say thank you to all the staff at Ciudamar-Killian Palms Country Club for making our special day even more special.  The venue looked absolutely gorgeous, the food was delicious, and all the staff provided great service.  All the vendors and staff did a fantastic job!!!  Our guests commented on how pretty the venue was and loved having the 3 separate areas available (the gazebo, the bar area, and the reception hall).

Several people commented on how tasty the appetizers and dinner were.  I know I was in love with the little palm tree even before the wedding date, but it looked even prettier in person than in pictures and whoever created it is a true artist.  Some of the guests commented that the fruit was very fresh and I noticed that everyone quickly enjoyed the appetizers.  Dinner was also excellent.  I received compliments about the chicken marsala.  They said it was warm and very tasty.  I also heard that the drinks were good, not watered down, and even some of the kids enjoyed virgin pina coladas.

I even had a guest tell me that she had gone to a $60,000 wedding a few months ago at a very prominent venue and our food and overall wedding was much better than theirs.  She even commented on how clean and nicely put together the women’s bathroom is.  Yes, I know, people notice every little thing.

The staff was super nice with all the guests and I want to say special thanks to Jose Batista.  Jose was very attentive to us.  He saved a plate of appetizers for us since we were taking pictures during the cocktail hour.  But what I appreciated most was that around midnight I shared with him that I was starving because I had been distracted by all the excitement of meeting the guests during dinner time and I had not had a chance to eat dinner.  He said he would check what was available in the kitchen and quickly came back with a warm plate of food.  I really appreciate his thoughtfulness.

When we were about to leave for the night, I went into the kitchen to let Jose know that we were leaving soon and to ask him to pack our left over cake.  To my surprise, the kitchen was super clean.  My compliments to the kitchen staff.  They did an amazing job getting everything prepared and then cleaning the kitchen by the end of the night.

I also want to say thank you to all the vendors you use.  They were all easy to work with.  Liz, Vic, and Alex from Mas Quality Photo were an absolute pleasure to work with and everyone is anxiously awaiting for the pictures and video.  We have already told our relatives that we will have a video watching party once we receive it.  Eliecer, the DJ was also nice to work with and some of my guests were happy that he even had paso dobles for them to dance.  Mavy from Glamour Flowers really understood my vision and brought it to life.  The flowers looked absolutely beautiful!  I really appreciate your staff bringing in the ceremony flowers into the reception area after the ceremony.  It allowed so many more of our guests to take centerpieces home.  The cake from Mr. Bee’s was also delicious.  The day after the wedding, some of our relatives asked if we had left over cake because they wanted some, but it was so good that we lied to them by saying it was all gone, so we could keep it for ourselves.

One of the big hits of the party was the photo booth. Lorraine, thanks for making me feel comfortable with hiring them without meeting them first. You were right, Greg and Marcie had a great personality and just about everyone commented how much fun they had taking the photo booth pictures.  I wish they would have told us a little bit ahead of time that they were leaving before they actually left because we didn’t get a chance to take a photo booth picture.  By the way, I thought the picture you and Eliecer took was super funny.  You should have written something in our scrapbook.

One of my guests was an experienced event planner.  Actually I assisted her with some of her events and bridal shows several years ago. Some of the weddings she planned have been previously published in The Knot and several other magazines so I was afraid she was going to be extremely critical. She actually called me a few days ago to tell me what a wonderful job I did planning the wedding and that she had enjoyed every minute of the wedding celebration.  Then she asked that if she ever remarries, I plan her wedding.  I laughed and told her of course I would do it and I would be calling you guys.  You made it easy for us to plan our wedding.

You work with an excellent team!  Everyone did an outstanding job and if any future customer needs a reference or has questions, we would be happy to share our experience.  Thanks to both of you and the entire team for putting together an amazing event!!!
