Finding a wedding venue was not easy for me with the budget I was working with. I live in Davie, FL and all venues I came across were all too pricey, until I found Grand Salon Reception Hall after persistently searching online. Grand Salon Reception Hall sounded all to good to be true, from the price to everything that is included in there wedding packages. After going in person and meeting with Miriam I was so happy to hear that everything was very true! The fact that the Venue is located in Kendall & I live in Davie which is 50 min drive didn’t bother me much since I was getting a great deal with everything included that I needed to have my dream wedding. Miriam and her staff were very helpful & flexible with me especially with my long commute.
I want to thank Miriam & her staff for helping me plan my wedding. I had my ceremony at Killian Palms Country Club Gazebo which was breathtaking. My reception was at the Grand Salon Reception Hall which is so beautiful and elegant. Honestly you really don’t need to decorate much because the inside alone is decorated so beautifully on it’s own. Just like any bride I wanted everything to go perfect and it did.
Their recommended vendors they work with were also amazing and made it very easy to work with them. The food was delicious! My guest still talk about how good the food was.
The only negative feedback I have is I was told children 3 years & younger were free, and that was assuming the kids would be eating. I have a 3 year old daughter who eats food, the wedding coordinator told me kids are free because under 3 kids don’t eat. I was upset when I was told this because this wasn’t clarified & unprofessional. I’m not going to neglect my child. For the children to eat I had to pay the same price as the adults $59, which was ridiculous! Kids menu over 3 was also $59 & I just thought it was crazy that the kids had to be the same price as the adults. Overall my wedding was beautiful & came out better than I expected.

We are so happy to hear your event was a success and that your guests are still talking about the quality of the service and food. The fact that you enjoyed your wedding this much is wonderful. Great joy comes to us when one of our clients appreciates our venues and services as much as you did.
Although, I would like to mention that the price for guests and children are clearly stated in the contract on item # 7 and it is always initialed by the client. This matter should not come as a surprise. We would like to clarify that $59 does not only include the food. The cost of the packages is prorated among the number of guests. In your case the package purchased was the Unforgettable Package which includes: Five Hour Reception, DJ, Appetizers in a separate Cocktail Room, Formal Sit Down Dinner, Coffee Station, Designer Cake, 5 Hour Open Bar with more than 40 Cocktails, Champagne Toast, Upgraded Floral Arrangements for the Main and Guest Tables, Table Linen, Photo and Video, Waiters, Bar Tenders, Staff and an Event Coordinator. As you can see the price per person is very affordable if you take into consideration that more than 10 services are covered by this amount. In your particular event there were a total of 18 children among the list of guests, this may also pertain to your discomfort with the price. Despite this, you and your guests were able to experience the quality of our services and the attention to detail that we offer in our events. We will definitely let the staff know about your good comments.
